Best Super Bowl Commercial: A Baby Clydesdale Named Hope!
If you were a 49er fan or even if you weren't, this year's Super Bowl commercials were a highlight of the broadcast. They had art, humor and intelligence -- well at least most of them. But one stunned us with its beauty and sensitivity to the horse/human partnership. And for that we grant it The Whinnies! Best of Equine Film commercial award. Viewers voted by Twitter to name him, and days later he was christened Hope. We think this sweet film does indeed give us all just that.

Equistar Farm for Sale
Call for charitable partners! 90 days to purchase or move
After nearly a year on the market and a failed near-sale last summer, the owners of Equistar Farm, which The Flag Foundation leases as its primary site in northern California near Sebastopol, are stepping up their efforts to sell the property and have given us a May 15 deadline to buy or move. Our first priority is to attract charitable partners to acquire this property with us. Second choice is to be gifted (or gifted the use of) another similar property in Marin or Sonoma counties. For more information, please contact us.
