"What Isn't" is Often More Important Than "What Is."
I think it would be fair to say that all of us have dreams for our lives. In our imaginations we can create incredibly wonderful scenarios until we are reminded of how things really are in our lives. The dreams seem nice but they aren't what we are currently experiencing. In fact, those dreams could seem a million miles away and totally unreachable...until we set our minds into motion with a deliberate intention to achieve them. We first need to get clear about what we want to create. Then start taking consistent and deliberate action toward that goal. At first, the progress may seem dismal, however, the small shifts you do daily will amount to large benefits in the future. Imagine a forward moving ship on the ocean. If that ship changes its course by one degree, the initial change will be unnoticed at first. But over time, that ship's destination could be thousands of miles from the original one. All with a tiny course shift on the journey and consistent movement forward. What "one degree" shift could you do to point your ship toward your dreams? You can start right now by creating your DEFINITE MAIN PURPOSE STATEMENT and setting sail to your DREAMS!
