New Year, New CEO!

January will be a little brighter at the Center as Kathleen Reardon joins our team as CEO, allowing Interim CEO Mike Ostrowski to dive back into retirement.

Nonprofit Facilities, Funding, and Financing Survey Still Open

The Nonprofit Facilities, Funding, and Financing Survey, conducted in collaboration with the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, is still open. Your responses will help us develop new resources and workshops to help with your upcoming development and renovation projects.

New IRS Reporting Proposal Requires Collection of Donor Social Security Numbers

Proposed regulations from the IRS would create a separate, optional return to substantiate contributions of more than $250. The return would include donors' names, addresses, and Social Security numbers (or other taxpayer identification numbers).

The National Council of Nonprofits has come out in opposition to this new proposal, citing significant costs, potential confusion, and increased risks of fraud and identity theft.

The Center feels that this is a potentially concerning issue, and will continue to both monitor this proposal and keep you informed.

Exempt Organizations IRS Priorities
