Giving USA 2015: Donations Hit Record High, Up 7.1% from 2013

The recently released Giving USA 2015 found that Americans gave almost $360 billion, up 7.1% from 2013. While bequest, corporate, and foundation giving all increased, a 5.7% increase in individual giving accounted for almost $11 billion of the $18+ billion overall increase.

Free Social Media Planning from SNHU Students

As a final project (25% of the course grade), teams of students in an introductory Social Media Course at Southern New Hampshire University will be developing a social media plan for smaller nonprofit organizations. They are seeking southern NH (Manchester-area) nonprofits. This is not an internship or volunteer help. The project will provide the nonprofits with early-stage social media planning that the organization itself can then implement/deploy.
