This Saturday and Sunday (April 23 & 24) Rancho Cordova will be invaded by the sound of lawn mowers running simultaneously. But, they won't be mowing grass. They will be running full throttle on a dirt track!
Big Time Speedway's Dirt Oval and the United States Lawn Mower Association is bringing Round #2 of the National Racing Series to Prairie City SVRA-OHV Park. These are not your standard riding mowers. Sounding like super-bikes, with drivers tricked out in full racing gear, the blades removed; these mowers are fast! This is the first time the USLMRA will host a national race in Northern California.
Come out for the fun! Entrance for Rancho Cordova Chamber members and your families is FREE! Racing begins at 5pm and goes till about 9pm.
