Buck Eyes SERVE Up Fun

For the past eight years, Ohio State University students have been visiting The Arc Baltimore for their alternative spring break program, Buck-I-SERVE.  This year, nine students ranging from freshman to senior, visited The Arc once again.  The students organize the "Arc Idol" program during their week long stay.  People with various talents who are supported by The Arc audition for the show that takes place on the last day of their stay.  The students hold the auditions, host the program, decorate the stage and provide trophies. Thank you Buck eyes. We will miss you!

Intern Spotlight

Carly Thomas is one of our wonderful spring interns.  Carly is a gerontology major and has a minor in applied adult disability studies at Towson University.  Carly leads a senior group at our center in Dundalk and also teaches Tech Time - a class to help people use their computers more proficiently and become more familiar with social media and the internet.  She is doing a great job with the people The Arc supports and we love having her with us this semester.

If you would like to have an internship experience with The Arc Baltimore, contact Debbie Staigerwald at 410-296-2272 ext: 5216.
