A big thanks goes out to members from Zion United Church of Christ in Perry Hall, who hosted a special holiday event for individuals with disabilities and staff from The Arc Baltimore in December. The congregation cooked dinner, handed out gifts, and sang carols. All in attendance were uplifted during this special time. We are so grateful for our friendship with the Zion congregation.

Steven Cenname is our public policy intern. He is a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University and is working with The Arc Baltimore to help prepare for the legislative session which began on January 13th.
The Advocacy Impact Teams were created to strengthen our impact on the legislative process during the MD General Assembly and prepare for Developmental Disabilities Day in Annapolis on February 10th.

This year's theme is "Equal Rights and Opportunities." Please join us as citizens with developmental disabilities, families, providers and advocates convene in Annapolis to meet with legislators about critical disability issues at Developmental Disabilities Day in Annapolis.

If there is enough interest in transportation, we will provide a bus to Annapolis from several different Arc locations in Baltimore City/County. Please be sure to let us know if you are interested.

The Arc Baltimore has many opportunities for you and your friends to come visit and spend a few hours or a day with the people The Arc supports. Sprout Film Festival
The Arc Baltimore and Towson University will co-host their 4th annual Sprout Film Festival that showcases entertaining and memorable films featuring and created by people with developmental disabilities. All ages are welcome to take part in a screening of shorts, music videos and documentaries.

Swing Into Action!
The 22nd Annual Golf Tournament is being held May 17, 2016. Registration details are coming soon. Golfers receive a continental breakfast and lunch as well as 18 holes of golf that include several special holes and many opportunities to win door prizes and awards. Get ready for an 8:00 AM shotgun start at Diamond Ridge and Woodlands Golf Courses.
Not a golfer? Consider, if you can, donating an item for the silent auction. Gift certificates, sports memorabilia, tickets to area attractions or games, electronics, jewelry, etc.

Donate That Clunker
The Arc Baltimore is pleased to accept your car or other vehicle as a donation through a partnership with The Arc U.S. and Melwood. Donate your used car, van, truck, boat with a trailer, or recreational vehicle to The Arc Baltimore. The proceeds from the sale of our donated vehicles help to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. It's as easy as filling out our online auto donation form.
