This December, with your help, 70 children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities will participate in Wings For Autism and have a practice run at what can be a traumatic experience for someone with sensory challenges - airport travel. Families often avoid flying and drive long distances because their loved ones can't handle the airport's noise and bustle, and the security process can be particularly unnerving. BWI Airport, Southwest Airlines, and AIRMALL are working with The Arc to help ease potential stressors that the airport experience can cause for individuals. So, after you enjoy turkey on Thanksgiving, shop till you drop on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we ask that you save some to give away on #GivingTuesday.
