Wings for Autism is a program that provides children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a "practice" opportunity to experience sometimes challenging aspects of airline travel at an airport - parking and shuttling to the terminal, check-in, security, boarding the aircraft and interacting with airport personnel along the way. BWI Airport, Southwest Airlines, and the Transit Security Administration are working with The Arc to help ease potential stresses that the airport experience can cause for individuals.

Nearly 400 people attended Art in the Round on October 16th in support of The Arc Baltimore and the amazing artists there showcasing their talent. Guests bid generously using our new and improved mobile bidding and were excited to take home a coveted piece of art. Eighty featured pieces were chosen by our selection committee from more than 200 submissions!
One lucky guest won the tech bundle valued at $3,000. Other attendees mingled with the artists, danced to the music of the DJ, and enjoyed the delicious food and The Lily Pad specialty drink. Over $40,000 was raised for The Arc Baltimore and 60% of the auction bids went to the artists - it was a wonderful night for all! Click here to see event photos.
