2015 Education Series:
Autism - Preparing for Adulthood

The system for children on the autism spectrum that many families are familiar with is totally different than the adult system. What can parents and youth on the autism spectrum do to get ready? What strategies help youth cope with changing expectations and opportunities? What skills will best ensure a high-quality, well-functioning life?

Zosia Zaks, M.Ed., C.R.C. will provide suggestions and tips gleaned from years of professional and personal experience as well as insights from the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism at Towson University, where he is Manager of Programs and Education.

Join us, immediately following the presentation, to learn about our 2nd annual Wings For Autism event (December 5th 1-4pm) and to have a special opportunity for early bird registration.
