Please come and join us for The Arc Baltimore's free monthly peer support workshop, Sibshops. Each workshop allows brothers and sisters of children with special needs to participate in a fun, energetic, and activity driven experience. Sibshops intermingles discussion activities, games, play, food, and most of all peer support.

Artists of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities looking to have their art showcased and auctioned off at this year's Art in the Round must submit their artwork by Tuesday, September 15. Please don't delay!
All artwork must be accompanied by a completed Artist Packet.
We will notify selected artists by Wednesday, September 30. Selected artists will receive two complimentary tickets to the event on Friday, October 16 from 7:30 PM - 11:oo PM. Please note that the event is three weeks earlier than normal and it is at a new location, The Grand Lodge of Maryland in Hunt Valley.

Improvements to the LISS Program
The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) has announced improvements to the LISS program, including a new, streamlined application process.
Application will be accepted August 1-November 30, 2015
Low intensity support services (LISS) assists adults with developmental disabilities and families with a child with developmental disabilities with purchasing services and/or items to address their needs. Parent Support Groups
Join us each month to laugh, cry, and share stories with other parents of children of all ages with developmental disabilities as they discuss the joys and challenges that they and their child face.
Moms Understand
Moms of children of all ages with developmental disabilities meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Please RSVP to Dianna Morgan at 410-296-2272, ext. 5311.
