BB&T Bank selected The Arc Baltimore as the recipient for their Light House Project. Eighteen volunteers spent a day at two residential houses in Baltimore County. They landscaped both houses, planted vegetable gardens, bought outdoor patio furniture, a grill and garden necessities for the people that live at the houses to enjoy. Thank you BB&T from The Arc Baltimore! Click the picture below to see a video of the Lighthouse Project.

Campers from St Pius X visited The Arc Baltimore for a fun filled experience. The middle school campers spent the morning with people The Arc supports at our center in Dundalk. They helped out in the art room, played bingo, assisted with adaptive bowling and bean bag toss. Everyone learned a lot about each other and made some good friends. We can't wait for them to come back and visit again!

The Arc Baltimore has known the loss of amazing people through the years - individuals who we supported to their end, family members who gave of themselves to advance our mission, and staff members who spent careers of dedicated service. Gifts are often given to The Arc Baltimore in memory of those we've lost. Now a more permanent gift may be offered. A memorial garden patio at The Arc Baltimore's headquarters in Towson can include bricks that are engraved with names and messages to help us remember those we've lost.
Honor the memory of your loved one with an engraved brick or a tree with a plaque at the base.
Print and fill out the memorial form and mail it to The Arc Baltimore, Attn: Development, 7215 York Road, Baltimore MD 21212. For more information, contact Kate McGuire at 410-296-2272, ext. 5217.
