Memorial Brick Remembrance Program

The Arc Baltimore has known the loss of amazing people through the years - individuals who we supported to their end, family members who gave of themselves to advance our mission, and staff members who spent careers of dedicated service. Gifts are often given to The Arc Baltimore in memory of those we've lost. Now a more permanent gift may be offered. A memorial garden patio at The Arc Baltimore's headquarters in Towson can include bricks that are engraved with names and messages to help us remember those we've lost.

Honor the memory of your loved one with an engraved brick or a tree with a plaque at the base.

Click here to print and fill out the form to be mailed back to The Arc Baltimore.

For more information, contact Kate McGuire at 410-296-2272, ext. 5217.

Council Survey - Your Help Needed!

The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council believes that all people should be supported to live in their communities.

Every 5 years the Council develops goals by listening to input provided by people with developmental disabilities, family members, people who support them, and advocates. Your feedback will help us decide on priorities on how to direct our funding.  Deadline is July 31st!

Your feedback from this survey will help direct our resources and advocacy efforts through 2021. Please share the survey with adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

See how your County's participation compares and take action to ensure equal representation! Thank you for taking a few minutes of your day to help make a difference!

Enews Subscription

The Arc has three monthly enewsletters (Catalyst, Reaching Families, and Volunteers & Interns) and an Advocacy Network with as-needed alerts. Subscribe to one or all.

Education Series Survey

We are interested in gathering more information about the learning & training needs of our community of supported individuals and their families. We are looking to make our Education Series seminars more accessible and interesting to our community through a survey. You can not only submit your own education / training suggestions (and get a drawing entry for each suggestion to win one of several $50 gift cards!) through the online survey link below, but the staff member who assists the most supported individuals with the survey will get a $50 gift card. The paper version is attached which includes information about how to submit the surveys.

Click the image above if you'd prefer to use the online option with a supported individual, you can assist someone to fill it out. Then, just send a quick email to Nellie Power and give the names of individuals you assisted to be considered for the contest.
