The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council presents MDSibs 2015 in partnership with The Arc Maryland and By Their Side. MDSibs is bringing people together to discuss the "other" sibling. We will learn about the unique bond between a person with developmental disabilities and their siblings. It is a relationship full of ups and downs - laughter and tears, pride and guilt, enlightenment and frustration - that spans generations and affects the individual, the family, organizations and state priorities and policies.
Join MDSibs for a one-day conference to meet, connect and learn about siblings of all ages across the State of Maryland.
Date: Saturday, October 17, 2015
Location: Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport
1739 West Nursery Road
Linthicum Heights, MD 21090
For questions, email mdsibs@md-council.org or call 410-914-SIBS.

Sibshops provides a fun, energetic, and activity driven experience during each model. The Sibshops model intermingles information, discussion activities, games, cooking activities, and special guests. Most of all, Sibshops seek to afford siblings with opportunities for peer support.
