Check Out Sibshops!
Sibshops are monthy support groups for siblings of children with developmental disabilities. They provide a fun, energetic, and activity driven experience during each model. The Sibshops model intermingles information, discussion activities, games, cooking activities, and special guests. Most of all, Sibshops seek to afford siblings with opportunities for peer support.

Education Series: Human Trafficking
Amy Craig, LCSW-C, Licensing & Certification Supervisor at The Arc Baltimore will speak about how Human Trafficking, also referred to as modern day slavery, is a growing global and national concern, yet few are aware of this epidemic's presence in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Unfortunately, between 50 and 80 percent of the children being exploited are, or were, formally involved with the Child Welfare System. This training will bring awareness to this epidemic and identify key risk factors and indicators of the most vulnerable individuals.
