4th Annual PADRE TU PUEDES Conference  

This conference, presented by Parents' Place of Maryland, is for all Spanish speaking parents in Maryland who have children with special needs. All of these sessions are conducted in Spanish and are free of charge. The SUCCESS program is a partnership between the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and the Maryland Department of Disabilities and it enables Marylanders with intellectual disabilities to participate in a four year post-secondary education program.

Get Up And Get Out!

 

 

KEEN Greater DC  is a nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. 

 

KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals. Participating kids range in age 5 to 12 years. Kids can choose to participate in sports, music sessions, or swimming programs. The sessions occur monthly, on alternating Saturdays or Sundays.
