You can quickly TAKE ACTION by making a CALL to YOUR Delegates and Speaker of the House, Michael E. Bush (410-841-3800), and letting them know about the IMPORTANCE of this issue! Calling is easy! You can simply say (or leave a message) that you are calling to say:
"Please support legislation and funding to KEEP State reimbursement for
Direct Support staff at 35% above the minimum wage in Maryland.
Direct Support jobs should NOT become minimum wage jobs!"
