The Arc Baltimore Gets SERV-ed
Buck-I-SERV members didn't spend their spring break lounging on sandy beaches. Instead, the volunteers from Ohio State University chose to spend their time with The Arc Baltimore. These students brought the sun to Baltimore with their intense energy and warm human spirit. This was the sixth year that Ohio State students spent their vacation organizing the Arc Idol program, a singing/ dancing competition.
Individuals from all six centers showed off their talent at auditions throughout the week, in preparation for the big show on Friday. A fun time was had by all! Kudos to the students and the performers! Want To See Who Won? Check out pictures from the show by clicking the picture below. |

Let's Go Out- Celebrate DD Awareness
March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and The Arc US has launched their Let's Go Out campaign. March 29th is the official day to get out and enjoy a fun day in your community.
Get Out And Win Big
As you're out in the community, we would love for you to snap photos of yourselves participating in fun activities. For us, any day will do. Simply email the photos to us or share them on our Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #DDAware. Contest winners will receive a restaurant gift card and will be featured in the upcoming e-newsletters and on our social media pages. The contest categories are:

From Darkness Into Light

Shrimpossibles!
The Arc Baltimore was lucky enough to have a group of super volunteers from the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company come and spend the day with us. They brought prizes, and we had a great bingo session and a fantastic dance party! Come back and visit soon!

By checking the "Developmental Disabilities Services and Support Fund" box on your Maryland Tax forms, you can help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in desperate need of services on the DDA Waiting List. 100% of your donation will help support Marylanders with developmental disabilities, and all donations are tax deductible.

Donate Your Car
The Arc Baltimore is pleased to accept your car or other vehicle as a donation through a partnership with The Arc U.S. and Melwood.
Donate your used car, van, truck, boat with a trailer, or recreational vehicle to The Arc Baltimore, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The proceeds from the sale of our donated vehicles help to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. It's as easy as filling out our online auto donation form.
