Westonka Homecoming Parade, Tailgating, Mini Carnival & Football Game Friday, Oct. 2
Westonka Homecoming is here! On Friday, Oct. 2, districtwide festivities begin with the annual Homecoming parade at 5 p.m. The parade starts at Hilltop Primary School and ends at the Mound Westonka High School parking lot. Floats in this year's parade include sports teams, local businesses, the MWHS Pep Band and many more. A map of the parade route can be found below.

The annual mini carnival will take place outside of Haddorff Field following the parade. Tailgating is encouraged to spend time with friends and get a full stomach before the big game. You are welcome to bring your own pre-game snacks, or you can purchase a hot dog, chips, a cookie and water for $5 from the Westonka Football Boosters. Mark Lee will also be selling fish and chips, corn dogs and french fries from his food truck for $4 each. New this year, "touchdown towels" will also be for sale outside the gates of Haddorff for $5.
The carnival will also include bouncy houses, cotton candy and fun for White Hawks of all ages! Homecoming Queen Mikayla Bebeau and King Timothy Kaczanowski and the rest of the Homecoming Court will reign over the day's festivities. As the culminating event, the 6-0 White Hawks football team will take on Concordia Academy of Bloomington at 7 p.m. Make sure to wear red to the game and be ready to cheer!
