A Winning Winter--
For White Hawks Activities
|
Here in Westonka, we pride ourselves on having small schools with big opportunities. We provide personalized learning experiences and competitive class sizes while continuing to offer the same extracurricular and co-curricular activities seen in larger districts.
Let me put that fact in perspective for you. We have approximately 660 students in grades 9-12 at Mound Westonka High School. A total of 105 of those students competed at the state DECA competition this year. That means approximately 16 percent of the student body experienced the thrill of state-level competition in DECA alone.
I want to congratulate all of the students and teams that made the most of their opportunities this season. Please read the Borg Report for a list of highlights from our winter season.
