WESTONKA ANNOUNCES

Target Center in Minneapolis
Hawkettes Varsity Jazz Team
3:45 PM on Friday, Feb. 15
The Mound Westonka High School Hawkettes dance team is headed to the state tournament! The Varsity Jazz team placed second at the section tournament on Saturday, Feb. 2. The teams from Marshall, which finished in first place, and Holy Family, which finished third, also advanced to state.
"We could not be more proud of the performances this past weekend," coach Molly Carlson said following the section meet. "They pushed themselves harder than we have ever seen them, and that's all we ask of them; to do their best each time they dance. We can't control other teams, only what we bring to the floor, and they were amazing!"
