It's time to start cool season veggies indoors. Kale, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli can be started now for transition to the outside spring garden in late March.

Continue to keep bird feeders stocked and fresh water available for our feathered friends.

Be on the lookout for bagworms! Their telltale bags (with the resident caterpillar inside) should be visible, dangling from the branches of arborvitae or juniper. If/when found, hand pick and destroy.

Pruning season is right around the corner; it's time to sharpen your shears! If your FelcoŽ pruners couldn't 'cut butter', it's time to bring them to Martin Viette for a tune-up! We offer a fee-based drop off service to sharpen, clean and replace blades if needed. When you're shears are ready to be picked up, we'll call you!
