Orphans Needing Sponsorship At Restoration Gateway we have 18 children in need of sponsorships. Each child was created in God's image and has a wonderful story of restoration in their new home. They all have varied histories, but they have one thing in common ----- they need your support and encouragement in their future. The sponsorship program at Restoration Gateway is different from other sponsorship programs which simply supplement a child's educational or nutritional needs. Sponsorship at RG includes: - A new home to live in, with a bed and belongings of their own
- All meals
- Clothing
- Stipend for their house mom
- Salaries for their teachers
- School books and supplies
- Indoor and outdoor recreation areas, playgrounds and soccer fields
- Medical care

Clark and Joyce Lasse have been married for more than 31 years. They've raised four great kids and have now entered the grand-parenting stage of life. They've lived in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area for almost 35 years and have been serving in vocational ministry for more than 25 years. Their ministry has included various roles in pastoral church leadership, international student ministry, and most recently in collegiate residential discipleship with Lightbearers Ministries Int'l. In February of 2013 God brought to culmination a several-month process in which He made it incrementally clear that He was calling them to serve in Uganda, specifically Restoration Gateway. The Lasses anticipate being involved in several of RG's ministry focuses, including pastoral care for long term workers at RG and other parts of northern Uganda, the ongoing training of existing church leaders in the region, and helping to prepare the oldest of the RG children to be ready to leave the protection of RG as they approach adulthood. Clark & Joyce plan to take up residence at Restoration Gateway by September 2014.
Chris and Jenni Cockerham and family arrived at Restoration Gateway on June 29th, 2014. Chris was formerly a campus pastor at Hope Community Church in Raleigh, North Carolina where he served for 5 years. Prior to this, Chris and Jenni served on Young Life staff in the Raleigh area for 10 years. Their hearts for the lost, orphaned, oppressed, and abandoned of this world have led them to Restoration Gateway. Chris will serve as the Spiritual Formations director. He looks forward to building teams as well as training the Ugandan staff so that they can best teach future Ugandan leaders in spiritual leadership and discipleship at Restoration Gateway. Chris and Jenni have three children: Kylee 10, Caleb 8, and Joshua 6.
