Arts Alive in Libraries |
A series of arts events at libraries across Fenland has been launched on community website ShapeYourPlace. 'Arts Alive in Libraries' is a programme that looks to transform libraries into places where the local community can enjoy and take part in art activities and performances. It is funded as part of the Library Development Initiative from the Arts Council, England. There will be a wide range of events and activities from comedy clubs to a community TV project. The initiative has been developed as a partnership with the new CS3 Arts Consortia and Cambridgeshire Libraries, with Library Friends groups across Fenland taking a lead in deciding what will take place in their local library. See ShapeYourPlace for a full list of events. |
