The camping and RVing season in British Columbia is in full swing. Families are on holiday enjoying outdoor activities, visiting attractions and getting some relaxation.

Participating campgrounds are offering a special 2-night rate of $50 (+ taxes) for the September 9 & 10, 2016 weekend (Friday & Saturday).

Reservations must be made in advance directly with the individual campgrounds listed. Campsite availability is limited and on a first come first served basis. More details.

Have Even More Fun in BC Parks this Summer   

BC Parks in partnership with the Camping & RV BC Coalition have launched a new fun, family friendly activity for kids and adults young at heart: Jerry's Search n' Sketch, the ultimate Scavenger Quest. Park users enjoy a fun exploring and search activity in the park and in the end win a prize for completing the Scavenger Quest. Once the Scavenger Quest is complete, families have the opportunity to win a weekend of free camping by sharing their completed Scavenger Quest.
 
You can pick up your Scavenger Quest in a participating park, or visit BC Parks website for more details.
Plan Your Next Trip to the Thompson Okanagan, British Columbia and North-Central Washington 

A new website has been launched for travellers looking to explore the Interior Cascades region of Route 97 (from Wenatchee, WA to Cache Creek, BC). The site pivots around road trips that can be taken throughout the region and provides information about key attractions, terrain, distance, and driving conditions. BioBlitz 2016 Sidney Island, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve August 13 - 14 

Find and identify as many different organisms as possible in 24-hours! Work side-by-side with experts and add to the park reserve's official species list. Registration for BioBlitz 2016 is required: Saturday August 13th 12pm - Sunday August 14th 12pm. More details.
