Travel Tips: Roads and Driving in BC
|
Canadians drive on the right side of the road and use the metric system for distances and speeds, kilometers per hour rather than miles. British Columbia is a province of stunning mountains and scenery however, roads and mountain passes are subject to rapidly changing driving conditions, particularly from late October to April. This varies from wet roads to snow and ice. Ensure your vehicle has appropriate tires, brakes and is in good driving condition. For complete information on Roads and Driving in BC click here
