Many job seekers find themselves being overqualified. In this seminar, you will learn how to answer the overqualified question, why hiring managers are concerned about hiring overqualified applicants, and how to address the overqualified factor in your cover letter, resume and interview.

Mock Interviews          July 7th

Practice interviewing with real people. This is a 100% interactive workshop to provide you the opportunity to use your interviewing skills and practice your SCAR stories.

Negotiating Your Job Offer         August 4th
Determine what you can and cannot negotiate in a job offer, which elements to consider and ways to evaluate which elements are important to you.

Marketing Plan            August 18th
The creation of a marketing plan provides focus for your job search.This workshop will take you on a guided tour of how to create a target list of companies using LinkedIn and other online tools.

Bring your questions and notebook, tablet or laptop for a lively hands-on session. Learn by doing regardless of your skill level. This session addresses concerns with your LinkedIn profile, searching for people, companies, jobs and more.

Participants will learn to search the Jobs database for opportunities, identify industries and companies of interest, how to attract the interest of hiring managers and grow your network.
