Book Discussion Groups

Summer, 2014

Just when you're looking for some interesting reading for the summer--here's a brief update on the three different book discussion groups the library manages. There will be no group meetings in July. Titles for the August meetings will announced at a later date--stay tuned!

Honeymoon in Tehran: Two Years of Love and Danger in Tehran

This title by Azadeh Moaveni, will be read and discussed by the Non-Fiction Book Discussion group on Tuesday, June 3rd, at 7:00pm. Copies are available in the library. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion.

Brown Bag Book Review

Bring your lunch and join us as library staff review wonderful books they've just read. Dessert and beverages are served. BBBR will be on Wednesday, June 11th, at 12noon. No registration is necessary.

Potluck Dinner

Readers from both the evening and afternoon groups are gathering for the annual potluck dinner on Wednesday, June 11th, at 6:00pm. Help choose the titles for the coming year and please bring a dish to pass.

The Light Between Oceans

This book, by M.L. Stedman, will be read and discussed by the afternoon group on Wednesday, June 18th at 2:00pm, and by the evening group on Monday June 23rd, at 7:00pm. Copies are available in the library. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion.
