We all know how very important the SAT and ACT are, but many parents don't know as much as they need to about this aspect of the college admissions process until it is too late. Wouldn't it be nice to get clear answers to all your questions? Come listen to Chariot Learning test prep experts explain the specific steps you can take to dramatically improve your student's test scores and test-taking experience. Find out what the SAT and ACT are, why they matter, and what you can do to help your student get into the college of his or her dreams!

American Red Cross Babysitting Class

This course is designed to provide 11-15-year-olds the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and other safe, and help children behave. They will also learn basic child care and basic first aid. The successful candidate will receive certification as Red Cross babysitter at the conclusion of the class. For students age 11-15. Fee for this class is $60.00 - check or money order made payable to the American Red Cross - due on the day of class. Students need to bring lunch, drink, and a snack. NOTE: A minimum of 8 students is required. If we do not get enough students registered, the class will be cancelled. There is another class scheduled for Friday, April 18th.

Navigating the College Selection Process

Presented by College Assistance Plus (CAPlus), this session will cover information on reducing college costs, preventing costly mistakes parents make during the college process, the debt issue, academic selectivity, exploring Financial Aid packages, and how to better handle this big financial decision. This session is made possible with the help of Summit Federal Credit Union.

ACT Practice Test

Saturday, April 5th      9:30am-1:30pm

Open to students in grades 10-12

Registration begins March 8th.

Free Practice ACT with Chariot Learning! Take an officially released, full-length practice exam proctored by a test expert with a roomful of other motivated students under timed conditions. After the test, you will learn how to score the exam and interpret those results! If you do not stay for the scoring and interpretation of your exam, you will score it on your own using an answer key. Students are encouraged to stay for the scoring. Exact ending time depends on how long the scoring and interpretation portion lasts. Students need to bring #2 pencils and a calculator. They can also bring snacks if they desire! Note: A minimum of 10 students are required to hold the exam. If we fall below that requirement, we will need to cancel.
