Library Renovation Project
One of the primary goals of the library's Long Range Plan was "Renovate and repurpose the library facility in a cost effective manner to provide features and services that can be operated efficiently." The Library Board of Trustees selected SWBR Architects to conduct a space planning study and develop a renovation plan for the existing library facility. Part of that process involves gathering ideas about current and future library services from staff, trustees and the residents of the Fairport Central School District.
Three community input sessions have been scheduled with architect Jeff Hoover on Thursday, October 24th, at 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 7:00pm,
in the library's meeting room. With three different time slots, we hope to hear from adults, teens, seniors, families--everyone who uses the library. Registration is not necessary for these sessions so please come and listen to Jeff's ideas and share your own for the renovation of the library.
