AMERICAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING CLASS
This course is designed to provide 11-15 year-olds the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants.
This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how
to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and other safe, and
help children behave. They will also learn about basic child care
and basic first aid.
The successful candidate will receive certification as an American Red Cross babysitter at the conclusion of the class.
Open to students age 11-15.
Fee for this one-day class is $60.00 - check or money order
made payable to the American Red Cross - due on the day of class.
Students need to bring lunch, drink, and a snack.

KAPLAN SAT PRACTICE TEST
Saturday, September 21st, 9:30am-2:00pm
Open to students in grades 10-12
The Kaplan SAT Practice Test simulates actual test conditions so you
know exactly what to expect on test day. Results and what the score means will be discussed at a follow-up session on Wednesday,
October 3rd, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Students will automatically be enrolled in that session and parents are welcome to attend with their students. If neither student nor parent can attend the follow-up, results will be available at the library for pick up after 10/3.

WITH TEST STRATEGIES SEMINAR
Wednesday, October 3rd, 6:30pm-7:30pm
Open to students in grades 10-12 and their parents.
Students and parents of students who took the Kaplan SAT Practice Test
on September 21st will want to come to this seminar to receive a detailed score report with explanation of what the score means along with test
taking tips. Those who did not take the Practice SAT will also benefit
from attending this seminar. Students from the practice test automatically registered for this. If students cannot attend the session, test results will
be available at the library to pick them up after the session.
