AMERICAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING CLASSES
Back by popular demand! We stopped offering this program due to a steep registration cost increase. Very recently, the American Red Cross lowered its rates so that we could try offering them again. The schedule is limited this summer because of the late news about the lower cost.
We will continue to schedule these through the fall if the price remains $60 per student.
Space is limited to 12 students in each session.
Summer 2013 Schedule
This course is designed to provide 11-15-year-olds the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and other safe, and help children behave. They will also learn about basic child care and basic first aid.
The successful candidate will receive certification as an American Red Cross babysitter at the conclusion of the class.
Open to students age 11-15.
Fee for this one-day class is $60.00 - check or money order
made payable to the American Red Cross - due on the day of class.
Students need to bring lunch, drink, and a snack.
