News You Can Use....

The Teen area in the library has been rearranged a bit and we hope you like it.
All the copies of each fiction title are now shelved together: paperbacks,
books-on-CD, and hardcovers--no more separate sections. The graphic novels
have a new home as well--just a few sections over. We haven't finished labeling
all the new shelves yet so if you can't find everything you're looking for,
please ask for a little help. And don't forget to tell us what you think about
the new arrangement--we really want to know!

Reminder:

PRACTICE SAT/ACT EXAMS

Back by popular demand: we are partnering with KAPLAN to offer free combined Practice SAT/ACT Tests during this school year.  After each practice test, there will be a separate follow-up session aimed at giving you information on how to increase your score, the difference between the SAT and the ACT, and what your score on the practice test means for each.

Click here for info on the February series

Please note: We added these because of multiple requests, but if we do not have a minimum of 15 students at each session, they will be canceled.  So please spread the word if you know other parents and students who would be interested!

And last but not least:

NEW BOOKS!  NEW BOOKS! NEW BOOKS!

We've got lists for teens and 'tweens:

 and HERE for new Non-Fiction

Please check the online catalog for availability, or give us a call at 223-9091. We can pull a title for you and  hold it for 3 days--our free Blue Slip service. Holds for titles currently checked out can be placed online, in person, or over the phone with your library card number. We can even place a "paper" hold for titles on order.
