A famous author of crystals and minerals once said, "Healing is in the Earth" and indeed healing is in the earth and all of her elements provide us with know how to properly access and utilize them.  "OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS"

Although addiction is a heavy topic, one of our customers
inspired me to share this knowledge of how to use essential oils on the road to recovery from all types of addictions. Whether it be drugs, alcohol, food, gambling or something else, addiction is a disease that affects our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. Aromatherapy is a wonderful component to aid in reducing withdrawal symptoms, detoxing the body and improving one's resolve to take control and overcome the addiction.
Some common symptoms that you may battle on the journey to recovery are cravings, physical withdrawal, anxiety and depression. Use the following essential oils for each symptom by adding several drops to a palm full of oil, massaging it into the soles of your feet before bed and diffusing 4-5 drops in a diffuser at work, home or in the bedroom while you sleep. Adding 8-10 drops of an essential oil to a bath along with 2 cups of Epsom Salt can be invigorating and detoxifying as well when you need a boost.
Reducing cravings: Clove, Grapefruit or Peppermint Withdrawal: Lavender, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, Lemon or Orange Anxiety: Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot or Frankincense Depression: Orange, Frankincense, Sandalwood or Lavender The following is a list of oils to use for specific conditions. You may use either one or a combination of oils depending on your preference. Eating Disorder(s): Bergamot, Rosemary, Grapefruit Smoking: Black Pepper, Clove Alcohol: Lemon, Chamomile, Thyme, Rosemary Prescription Drugs: Orange, Chamomile, Bergamot Street Drugs: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Chamomile, Frankincense
