Build a Better E-Mail List for Your Fall Updates

Do you have a rock-solid email marketing list of engaged prospects and customers that you can consistently communicate with?

Building an email list is a persistent challenge for many contractors.  Its the thing everybody needs but few take the time to develop.  Here are some tips to jump start your efforts:

1)  Get contact data with each touch.  Whenever you or your team members speak with a customer, make certain to capture their contact information.

2)  Offer a landscape / irrigation tips newsletter.   An electronic newsletter like this one can help you share products and ideas with customers on a regular basis.  Surveys show consumers want to sign up for helpful advice from their trusted professionals.   Get a free trial here

3)  Run customer contests. This is a valuable tool to capture prospective clients while building an email mailing list.

4)  Ask.   Cut your carbon footprint by offering customers the option to use e-communications (like e-invoicing) in lieu of printed communications.
