A Special hello to you in the Lord's name, and I hope all is well.
First, Since 1998, we have been publishing the monthly FMI Report, documenting the progress of our ministry particularly here in the United States, where we have been based since 1999.
It has been a joy to keep a history of all that God has done through our ministry over the years, making special note of significant events, times, churches and people we have partnered with. In the process, I have been privileged and honored to work with some of the finest leaders in the Body of Christ (see 15 years of history at www.firepowerint.com press the 'FMI Report' tab).
However, as you are aware, I have been contending with increasing challenges concerning my health and I am currently housebound for most of the time. Therefore it is very difficult to carry on normal FMI activities, including writing and filming and I have not been able to fulfill any preaching engagements since the beginning of May.
As a result, the Governing Board of FMI has been working on a very positive plan to fill any possible gaps in the future progress of fulfilling FMI's main vision, which is multi-generational and too big for any one person.
We will be publicly announcing these plans as soon as some key components are shortly put in place. You will be one of the first to know!
But in the mean time, and for the first time in 15 years, there will be no FMI Report this month. However we are working on continuing again next month, so keep watching for a new and exciting format!
Second, so many of you have responded to our updates with lots of kind suggestions, encouragement, and support, which I have deeply appreciated from the bottom of my heart. However, some have wondered why I have not written back?
I hope you will understand, and as I have already alluded to above, how difficult it is for me to currently write a response. The paralysis in my hands means it can take much longer than normal and greatly limits what I can do.
Having said that, please don't stop sending me your feedback - it's important for me to hear from you, but please forgive me if I cannot manage a personal response to you at this time.
Third, every day I thank God for the good and the not-so-good, and I am grateful to Him for every opportunity that these circumstances may bring to give honor and glory to His name.
I have placed my total trust in Him for everything including provision for now and the future. I have a firm assurance from Him that all our needs will be met for every day of our lives. He has never let me down all the years I have been walking with Him and He's not going to now!
I'm trusting He will speak to you, and if you can be a witness to our faithfulness over the years, you will respond with a like faithfulness in finances to stand with us through this difficult time.
