Firstly, I want to wish you and your family a very happy New Year! May 2013 be a special time for you all!
I also wanted to personally update you on the latest situation with my health.
After not seeing any improvement in my voice over the last few weeks, I went to an ENT (ear/nose/throat) doctor last Friday.
They scoped my throat and unfortunately found that one of my vocal chords is paralyzed!
This is because of one of the two cancer affected lymph nodes in my neck is impacting the main nerve to the chord.
They set me up with a doctor in Philly who can inject something like Botox into the paralyzed chord pushing it out so that the other working chord can vibrate against it... I will see him this coming Tuesday.
Apparently, this process enables you to have some sort of a voice right away.
I've had to cancel more than half of this months preaching engagements, so I'm hoping this procedure will work.
Kindly pray that I will be able to continue to preach again as soon as possible, and the loss of finances will be made up as I continue to trust the Lord for that and my health.
