There have been a few developments with my health since I last gave you an update late in August. At that time I had lost my voice and could not walk.
There was a suspicion from my doctors that one of the affected lymph nodes in my neck may have been the cause of my voice loss. No improvement would have proven this right, so I had to play a waiting game.
What followed was several suspenseful weeks waiting to see if my voice would come back!
To complicate things, my back went out and I could hardly stand for two weeks.
This was all a counter-attack to my advances with America For Jesus, which has great potential to impact the future in a huge way!
It was a relief when my voice slowly began to improve, which meant it was unlikely to be related to the lymph node, but more likely caused by the esophagectomy I had in 2009, causing acid to

rise and damage the vocal chords.
My voice is only just returning to normal now after two months - very difficult for a preacher!
Back in January, my CEA level (tumor marker) had dropped from 16 in August of last year, to 7.
Anything below 5 is normal. In May, it was 24! A month later it came in at 17! Last week I had the test again and it was 26.2!
Although that's not good and is the highest level its ever been, it would be a lot worse if it was going straight up and not fluctuating, as it has been.
In order to keep these levels down, I have been receiving treatments from a local doctor who is able to give me one of the treatments I have been having at the Christian Hospital in Mexico. This is high dosage IV Vitamin C.
He would like me to have this twice a week indefinitely to maintain and even improve my health to the point where I might even be cancer free!
