John Kasich is running for President to bring Americans together, restore our nation's strength and make the world a safer, more secure place.
WHAT makes JOHN KASICH a great candidate?
- Popular Governor of Ohio - In Ohio, a swing state, Governor Kasich was re-elected in 2014 by a 30-point margin.
- Proven Tax Cutter and Budget Balancer - As Chair of the Budget Committee in Congress, led the effort to balance the federal budget. As Governor, worked with his fellow Ohioans to turn an $8 billion shortfall into a $2 billion surplus, cut taxes by $5 billion, and is making Ohio one of the top job-creating states in the nation.
- National Security Experience to Keep America Safe - Having served on the Armed Services Committee in Congress, he is ready to hit the ground running as Commander in Chief on Day One.
- Successful career as an investment banker.
