| Greetings!
August 28, 2010 |
As you know, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has regulations that ban the interstate movement of raw milk for human consumption. The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) has brought a lawsuit to overturn these regulations; but, until the lawsuit is finished, FDA remains free to harass farmers, consumers, and buyers co-ops who cross state lines search of this wonderful food.
We are also exploring legislative options to stop FDA's abuse of its power. We have an important opportunity right now, while Congress is on recess, for people to meet directly with their U.S. Representative to talk about this issue.
If you would be interested in arranging a meeting with your U.S. Representative, please email your name, address and phone number as soon as possible!
Send your email to both Judith McGeary and Pete Kennedy at:

Congress is only in their home districts through September 10, so time is short.
