Greetings!
                                                    February 12, 2010

Frank Wallis, rancher and Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund member from Northern Wyoming alerts us about an opportunity to expand raw milk sales in Wyoming. Please pitch in and give him a hand to get this bill approved.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The Wyoming Legislature has a bill introduced that would make it legal in Wyoming to sell raw milk along with other farm/ranch products.

The Wyoming Food Freedom Act - HB 54 will be heard in the House Agriculture Committee next Tuesday, Feb. 16, in Room H-11 of the State Capitol in Cheyenne, Wyoming at 8 am.
The bill can be read at:

WY Food Freedom Act - HB 54

It is VERY important that as many people and organizations as possible email and call legislators in advance, and appear in person to testify.

The Department of Consumer Safety, the food inspectors, are conducting an organized effort, inappropriately and aggressively lobbying against your right to decide what food we eat, who you can buy it from, how it is produced, or how it is processed.

Please forward to others who might be concerned. Frank has provided email addresses for the committee and for the full legislature below.
