Greetings!
                                                            November 9, 2009

To FTCLDF Contacts in Wisconsin:

The Board for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) will be meeting this Wednesday (November 11) at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room at 2811 Agriculture Drive, Madison, Wisconsin.  [Prairie Oaks State Office Building, Board Room 106]

Although raw milk is not specifically on the agenda, there will be a public comment period (10:30-11) during the meeting at which time people may speak about raw milk.   Raw milk supporters are encouraged to attend to speak out against DATCP's current enforcement tactics against raw milk producers and to request that the agency not oppose any raw milk bill introduced in the legislature.

Take advantage of this opportunity to show the agency the level of opposition to its raw milk policy.  Each person will be limited to 5 minutes or less, depending on the number of speakers.  Each speaker must fill out and submit an appearance card to the Board clerk (Karen Schultz) by 10 a.m.
