Your Guide to the Fleet
MAY  2016
New Exhibition! Science Fiction, Science Future
The Fleet welcomes our new exhibition for the summer! Science Fiction, Science Future brings the science of the future into the present when it opens on Saturday, May 21, 2016, in the Fleet Science Center's main exhibit gallery.

Have you ever wanted to control a computer with your mind, interact with a cyborg or use "cloaking" to become invisible? Science Fiction, Science Future will give you the chance! The exhibition explores the innovations and inventions that were previously only considered possible in science-fiction films and literature. You'll see firsthand how the science fiction of today might become the science reality of tomorrow. Also, this is your last chance to see Zoo in You: The Human Microbiome before it closes on May 8. Don't miss the opportunity to learn all about the complex ecosystem and trillions of different microbes that inhabit the human body.

Science Fiction, Science Future opens May 21 and runs through September 5, 2016, in the Fleet Main Gallery.

Science Fiction, Science Future at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is sponsored in part by Genentech.

Science Is Everywhere
Science has the power to transform and inspire San Diego. This year, the Fleet's annual fundraiser, Science Is Everywhere, encourages you to discover the science all around you. Leading up to the June 2 virtual event, the Fleet is challenging you to share the science in your life through a photo scavenger hunt.

We want to continue to connect our community to the possibilities and power of science to create a better future. Help us reach our goal by making a donation today. Visit SupportFleetScience.org for more information about Science Is Everywhere and to donate.

Science Is Everywhere, now through Thursday, June 2, 2016.
