Four New Exhibitions in the Fleet Galleries |
The Fleet has FOUR new exhibitions in our galleries! Explore a world of tunnels and translucent rooms in Taping Shape, an exhibition we developed right here at the Fleet. Taping Shape is part art installation, part marvel of science; a giant maze, suspended off the ground, created with hundreds of rolls of packing tape! In Zoo in You: The Human Microbiome, visitors will learn all about the complex ecosystem and trillions of different microbes that inhabit the human body. Super Cells: The Power of Stem Cells teaches us all about stem cells, how they work in our body and the benefits of stem cells for science. The Art of Science Learning explores how art and science can be used together to tackle important issues in our world such as water conservation, food availability and transportation. It's a lot for one trip! Now would be an excellent time to consider becoming a member. With a Fleet membership, gallery admission is always free. More>>
