Four New Exhibitions Opening in January
|
The Fleet is excited to welcome FOUR new exhibitions to our galleries during the month of January!
First, the Art of Science Learning opens on January 23. This innovative new exhibition explores how art and science can be used together to tackle water conservation, one of the most pressing issues facing the San Diego community today.
Also on January 23 we open Super Cells: The Power of Stem Cells. This exhibition will feature information and interactives on the benefits of stem cells for science.
A week later, on January 30, we open two more exhibitions!
Zoo in You: Exploring Our Microbiome is all about the trillions of different microbes that make their home inside our body, and how without them none of us would survive!
Last, we open Taping Shape, an exhibition developed right here at the Fleet. Over 60,000 feet of packing tape is used to create a structure that is part art installation, part play area for visitors of all ages to climb, slide, learn and explore in.
It's a lot to experience in one visit, so now would also be an excellent time to think about becoming a member so you can come back again and again to enjoy it all. More>>
