Make New Creations With 3D Printing |
The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center now has 3D printing in the Tinkering Studio! Use Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) techniques to design your own toys and structures, then watch as a 3D printer creates your model right before your eyes.
3D printing has helped spark the Maker Movement and revolutionized the way objects are made and designed all over the world.
The 3D printing workshop is available for ages 7+. Pricing for the three-session workshop is $80 for Fleet members and $90 for nonmembers. More>>

Winter Camps Registration Begins November 9

The Fleet is offering two weeks of full-day science fun this winter! Grades 1-3 can enjoy creative science camps based on Imaginate, the Fleet's newest exhibition built on interactive play and learning the process of innovation. Grade 4-6 can join the Minecraft Computer Programming Camp, where they will learn how to customize their Minecraft experience with unique blocks or items, creatures, schematics and even an entire mini-game!

November is the last month for our popular live science shows, Don't Try This at Home. It's been a fantastic run but it's time to make room for something new at the Fleet.
If you haven't witnessed a Don't Try This at Home live show yet, now is the time! The loud, messy and shocking science shows can be seen in the Lecture Hall, next to the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater.
Don't Try This at Home shows are also available for your next birthday party or school function. More>>
Shows run three times a day on weekdays and five times a day on weekends.

Watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens With the Fleet |
Join the Fleet for an exclusive private screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, coupled with a stellar pre-screening party, featuring celebrities such as R2-D2 and Stormtroopers from the 501st Legion, plus free food and drink from local restaurants and breweries. The screening for Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes place at the AMC Mission Valley 20 IMAX theater. Transportation from the Fleet to the movie theater and back will be provided by private motorcoach. The party begins at 7 p.m. at the Fleet, with motorcoaches departing to the movie theater at 9:30 p.m. More>>
