Home Energy Efficiency Financing Workshop

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) allows qualified property owners to get a tax-deductible loan through the HERO Program.
Qualified property owners looking to upgrade their homes or businesses with energy and water-saving products like solar, drip irrigation, etc. can meet city representatives, HERO program experts, and local contractors certified to retrofit your home and let the savings begin!
Participants will be able to sign up for no-cost home energy assessments by Solar Santa Monica. Light snacks and refreshments provided.

Mike Brune of the Sierra Club and Ruskin Hartley of Heal the Bay discuss the impact of John Muir's vision for modern environmentalism. Mike and Ruskin, executive directors of their respective organizations, celebrate Muir's legacy, examine how the movement has evolved, and discuss who is leading the charge in the 21st century. Stay after for refreshments from Real Food Daily, and a book sale courtesy of Barnes & Noble.
John Muir is the founder of the Sierra Club and recipient of this year's Green Prize for Sustainable Literature Pioneer Award.
This is a free event, seating is available on a first come first served basis.

Caffe Bellagio offers discounts for bringing your own coffee mug, locals discounts and collects customers java jackets for reuse. Their maintenance operations include Green Seal certified peroxide based multi-purpose cleaners. They also replaced all non-recyclable aerosol container cleaners with refillable and recyclable spray bottles.
