BAINBRIDGE ISLAND

A 35-minute ferry ride away from Seattle, Bainbridge Island is total Northwest bliss - history, culture, and natural beauty have never looked so good. A bridge connects the island to the Kitsap Peninsula over the Agate Pass, and features spectacular panoramic views like the Puget Sound, Cascade Mountain Range, Olympic Peninsula (and Mountains), and Mount Rainier. Farms, wineries, local arts, abundant forests, scenic shorelines, and hiking trails are just a few of the gifts the island has to offer.

The island is also home to fun and unique events. 30,000 people descend on the downtown area every year for the largest community congregation - the Grand Old Fourth of July! Additionally, October is local cinephiles' favorite month with the 17th Annual Bainbridge Island Celluloid Film Festival , presented by Arts and Humanities Bainbridge. Don't miss it this year on October 24 & 25.
