Washington Filmworks is pleased to announce that Film Day in Olympia on March 17 was a success. Thank you to all constituents, supporters, and professionals who came down to Olympia to advocate on behalf of the statewide film industry - whether it be on our zombie set or in one of many legislative meetings. When people think of motion picture production, they often imagine the finished on-screen project - but how was it made? Hand Crank Films, a Bellingham production company, is here to tell us the story behind the story. We do this by creating possibilities for local and national filmmakers, offering comprehensive production support as well as financial incentives.
