KNOW YOUR LEGISLATOR, KNOW YOUR DISTRICT

At both of our Town Hall events, Executive Director Amy Lillard issued a call to action asking the film community to update Washington Filmworks with their legislative district information.
In 2012, the Washington State Redistricting Commission drew new boundaries for legislative districts. It's quite possible that your legislative district has changed. Please take a moment and identify your legislative district and let us know your district number so that we can keep you updated about your legislator's support (or not) of Washington's statewide film industry.
Our goal is to identify film industry professionals in every district of Washington State. Know your legislator, know your district, and make sure that your voice is heard! Please use the Washington State Legislature Finder to find your legislative district.
Then, please fill out this survey to let us know your district so that you can get represented and your voice heard.
Stay tuned for our Legislative Awareness Campaign launching soon that will keep you in the know about significant legislative updates and ways that you can be involved.

COMMERCIALIZE SEATTLE CALL FOR CONTENT
Commercialize Seattle is currently accepting submissions and content! Be a part of this business development campaign to drive production and advertising to the region, and get featured in our Latest Work section of the Commercialize Seattle website that showcases some of the very best commercial work coming out of Seattle and Washington State.
When we're out selling the region as one of the best places in the world to make commercials, we point people to the Latest Work section on the website to show them what we can do here! The campaign highlights locally made commercials and is a hub where brands and agencies look to find great talent. Local production companies and ad agencies should register and learn more.
We frequently showcase new work, so get registered and submit. Then we can show you off to the world - remember, advertising is the best thing any of us can do! |
